About

My name is Christine Brendel, in 2023 I decided to continue my path in Ireland and leave behind the country of my birth, Germany. I had already set foot in this wonderful country at the age of 19, but decided to stay in Germany for family reasons. Two of my children moved to Ireland, each to a different county.

I completed in-depth training in the areas of marketing, PR and corporate communications in Munich and later worked in the areas of culture and intercultural communication. I later studied psychology part-time at the Open University in the UK and completed training in body psychotherapy, couples and sex therapy, as well as further training in peace work.

I have five children, am divorced twice and live together with my youngest son and our boxer dog Hildegard.

I would like to describe the title of John O’Donnohue’s book ‘To bless the space between us’ as my assignment.
